A journalist by trade, I began talking publicly about my own infertility journey in the pages of the Jersey Evening Post in 2020 after the first lockdown impacted access to treatment. I found the experience hugely cathartic and actually quite empowering and the more I opened up about what my husband and I were going through the more I wanted to say!
The large number of people who also got in touch to not only wish us well but to share their own experiences also showed me that we were most definitely not alone.
It was during this time that I met Chloé, who was already building Tiny Seeds into the caring, supportive and amazing community it is today. I immediately saw what she was aiming to achieve and recognised the massive need for it and wanted to do anything I could to help. The rest, as they say, is history and I’m so proud to be a part of the Tiny Seeds team and to have played a small part in helping to open up the public conversation around infertility here in Jersey.
